The small, high school again In the period April 2014 October 2015, C4C Association implements the project “with small, large, back to school” in partnership with the Gorj County School Inspectorates, Calarasi and Arges. It aims to reduce and prevent early school leaving through programs of “second chance” for young people who have left school early and keeping the education of preschool children with disabilities and students at risk of early school leaving in the Bucharest – County, South Muntenia and South – West Oltenia. The target group consists of 375 young people (Roma, rural people and other vulnerable groups), aged between 18 and 25 years who have left school early. Innovation in Employment for Women – Voices community! This project is implemented by the Professional Association of Non-Governmental Social ASSOC in partnership with the Association for Community Communication C4C, Light Into Europe Foundation Romania, Light Into Europe Foundation UK and BPI Management Consulting Romania. The target group consists of 1,100 people, including 800 women (to be qualified sign language interpreter profession), 150 people in central and local public authorities and 150 representatives of civil society organizations. To achieve the general objective set a budget of £ 12 million project activities being carried out over a period of 18 months (May 2014 November 2015). Rediscover school The project supported the long-term social integration of children and youth with disabilities. The project was implemented in the period March 2011 – February 2014 and used a budget of 7 million USD. results: 909 children with special needs participated in camps, workshops, summer schools / Sunday; 867 parents / guardians participating in the project; ANC 345 certified mediators, trained in the project; 22 series of free summer camps for children with disabilities and their parents; 48 workshops in eight counties of Arges, Calarasi, Dâmboviţa, Giurgiu, Ialomita, Ilfov County, Virginia and in Bucharest. Products developed for sustainability E-learning platform that helps parents and guardians, staff and organizations wishing to develop their knowledge and skills to support disabled children, young people and their families; Development of a sensory room in Bucharest stimulating multi-sensory development, neuro-motor relaxation and awareness (learning) cause-effect relationship. The project was implemented between October 2010 – January 2013 and has used a budget of 12 million USD. results: 800 women qualified occupations maid, employed in food trade worker, operator input, validation and processing in 8 counties (Arges, Calarasi, Dâmboviţa, Giurgiu, Ialomita, Ilfov County, Virginia) and in Bucharest) ; Over 50 women have advanced in their careers due to the new qualification; Informed and trained 118 women on access to the labor market; 734 women psychological counseling; Averaged 346 women in finding a job; 60 women graduates of ICT courses; Two job fairs with over 400 seats and 35 employers present in various fields for especially women.
